FDS-601 Flame Detector

图片1.pngFDS-601 flame detector adopts the die-casting aluminum shell, and is equipped with the internal photoelectric detection and induction circuit. The circuit uses the logarithmic amplifier to avoid signal overflow effectively.

The detector outputs the flame intensity and frequency to the amplifier by the current, which avoids the long-distance interference and distortion effectively. The probe uses a 4-wire connection.FDS-601 flame detector is a new, safe and reliable detector with the processing structure of the microprocessor.

FDS-602 Control Unit

图片3.pngFDS-602 control unit has the independent built-in 4mA ~ 20mA analog output module and flame relay, which can adjust the ON/OFF threshold for analog signal output corresponding to the flame intensity and the dry contact signal of flame on/off state.FDS-602 control unit is designed with the self-checking function, which can perform the real-time diagnosis and detection of the operation state of circuit and program. The 24V power supply and signal output of FDS-602 control unit are connected externally through the terminal block. FDS-602 flame detection control unit has a six-character alphanumeric LED display and 4 pushbutton style keys, which is convenient for the user to view the operation parameters and set the parameter values.

FDS-602 control unit can directly communicate with the upper computer which is installed with the flame detector monitoring and management software, so as to realize the visualized flame status display and parameter setting function.

FDS-602 control unit uses the guide rail type installation or fixed installation, convenient for replacement and maintenance.

Principle

FDS-601 flame detector is equipped with a built-in photosensitive device for the collection of the flame signal. The FDS-602 control unit is used to amplify and process the collected signals, so as to judge the existence of the flame by a series of calculation and analysis. FDS-602 control unit can output flame quality information in real-time.

FDS-602 control unit firstly divides the flame signal into 2 channels: the intensity and the frequency signals. The intensity signal represents the brightness of flame, and the frequency signal represents the flame flicker. The frequency signal contains spectrum, bandwidth, peak to peak value and other parameters of the signal. The frequency signal of flame is about 1Hz ~ 200Hz, and the light frequency of coke slag and ash in the furnace is less than 2Hz, so the analysis of the signal frequency spectrum can determine the presence or absence of flame. The FDS-602 control unit processes the signal of flame characteristics through a series of amplification, filtering and calculation of intensity signal and frequency signal, and finally obtains the "flame quality", as a basis to judge the existence of flame.

Installation

Flame Detector Angle

The observation angle and the burner centerline should be set at a small angle

(recommended 5- 10 degree), ensuring maximum monitoring of a flame's initial combustion zone, and obtaining the best observation effect.

It is a direct-view way to observe the target flame which is viewed through a straight conduit. This method is best suited for water-wall boilers and W-shape burners.

Optical fiber installation method

The target flame can be detected via the optical fiber transmission system with an adjustable observing angle. It's easy to install without installation space limitation. The observing method is applicable for all types of burners in coal-fired power plants.
