How did you spend Earth Day?

Walsn employees who received the honour of “Excellent Employee of 2017” were awarded an all-expenses paid trip to Thailand which coincide with this year's Earth Day. While on this company paid holiday to Thailand, our employees decided they wanted to be part of the company wide Earth Day participation and decided to clean beaches of their plastic pollution.

Mr. Wong, General Manager of Walsn's manufacturing facility in China said he was “extremely proud of the dedicated employees of Walsn on how they participated in Earth Day 2018 by taking the day to clean plastic from the beaches in Thailand.”

Most of the debris collected from the beaches were plastic water bottles. The employees spent time explaining to people locals and tourists alike what they were doing. Several people then decided to help them after getting educated on the effects of plastic pollution on marine life and how it enters our food chain.
