Walsn Completes Commissioning of Flame Detection System at Vedanta Power

In a recent technical support visit, Walsn assisted Vedanta Power in commissioning its advanced flame detection system. As one of India’s largest private power generators, with a total capacity of 4,780 MW, Vedanta’s implementation marks a significant operational milestone.

This engagement follows Walsn’s 2024 contract to supply its safety-critical flame detection system—an essential technology for ensuring safe and efficient operations in thermal power plants. During the site visit, Walsn’s engineering team worked closely with plant operators to validate system performance and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
